As of today (11th of August 2019) Canadian Facts has been updated to v1.4. This includes a conversion of the codebase from Java to Kotlin and also better testing as well as few minor bug fixes.
I’ve finally got round to releasing the update as I want to start on (and dedicate my time to) a new Android project.
